FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if I'm between sizes according to the sizing charts?

If your between sizes choose the bigger size as most of the shapers are high compression.

Can I get my shaper customized to my specific measurements?

Yes, we can work with you to customize your compression garment. The best and fastest way is to tailor a garment for inventory. For example we can shorten the length a specific amount or size down just the waist on a specific shaper. If its a customization that is more complex then we would make the garment from scratch. Since our Slender Bodies Compression garments are made in Colombia, we would have to account for production time, transit and customs processing time. This could be a 4 to 6 weeks turn over time.

What if I need to change my order?

If your order hasn't shipped we can try to make the changes to color, size or even style. If the order has been shipped, we will no longer be able to change the order. But we will give you instructions on how to exchange your order.

How do I get myself in the shaper?

Patience is key, too loose won’t give you the desired effect. So some effort will be needed especially in the beginning. With a little practice, you’ll get the hang of it!

If your shaper is a closed bodysuit:

If your garment has clips leave the bottom hook & eye closed. Step into each leg hole and shimmy (Yes, we said shimmy) it up your legs, thighs and butt. Then insert your arms through each arm hole, even if you plan on using the shaper strapless. Check to make sure it's properly in place and all the way up your back before you begin to close it. Start from the bottom and work your way up; fingers close to each hook & eye. Even if it's a zipper closure there are clips to help you and give the zipper support. Once it’s on, adjust it by smoothing out any wrinkles or folds. You can gently pull it to ensure it sits correctly without causing discomfort and now you can remove the straps or change them up to accommodate your outfit!

If your shaper is a open bodysuit:

If your garment opens all the way down to the crotch make sure that when you put your legs through their respective leg hole the seams are in the proper place. That the inseam are between your thighs and that the outer seams are facing out. Or you can leave the bottom 4 hook & eyes closed and step into the garment. Now you shimmy  it up your legs, thighs and butt. Then insert your arms through each arm hole, even if you plan on using the shaper strapless. Check to make sure it's properly in place and all the way up your back before you begin to close it. Start from the bottom and work your way up; fingers close to each hook & eye. Once it’s on, adjust it by smoothing out any wrinkles or folds. You can gently pull it to ensure it sits correctly without causing discomfort and now you can remove the straps or change them up to accommodate your outfit!

If your shaper is a vest or waist:

If your garment is a vest insert your arms through their respective arm hole. If it's a waist make sure the tag is under your bust line and in the center. Now grab the bottom corners, with your fingers close to and ready hook the hook & eye on the bottom. Then put the garment with your arms out to the sides and them forward to clip the hook & eye. Go in order and work your way up. If you have a zipper then close it and hook the to hook on the loop on the top underneath your bra.
